letter to the past

In order to be successful in the creative photography class, you must pay attention, stay on task and never procrastinate. If you aren’t paying attention to what the instructions are for a specific project then you won’t know what to do therefore you do not get a passing grade on the project. If you stay on task the whole class and keep up with your work you will not have to worry about it for homework and will always have extra time to do whatever. Some tips when taking pictures are to make sure you don’t just take them all at the same angle because then you really do not have anything to work with. The one image that i really like the most is the one where you take a picture of your face and then cut it in half and flipped it. I think that was my most successful project because it was a very simple project and the outcomes were very different. No ones project looked the same because everyone’s face is unique in their own ways. I could have had better lighting when i took the photos f

the importance of art

“Tax dollars should not be wasted on art, music or theater classes in high school. Public high schools should be about training young people to enter the workforce. Period.” I do not agree with this statement at all because some people many not want to go into the workforce business wise. Some of them want to create art or become a music writer. The workforce is not for everyone and there for we need to be able to provide for the students that do not want to be in it, meaning that there should be classes for those students such as art, music and theater.

The mood of these images kind of look disappointed, but they also look very sad because of the color choices. Their face expresses a straight face, like they aren’t wanting to be there, and the posture of the bodies look very slumped, kind of laid back. I think these images were created by normal paint, and some of that paint was smeared together to create a different tone of color. The colors play a big role in how the mood of these images are, for example the first one is blue and red, which are not very exciting colors. I think the artist tried to convey a very lazy look, in the second picture but a very mad look in the first. The response i think they were trying to evoke is moody, and i think they did a very good job doing that because of their color choices.
